Goodman & Kuleya

Both joined Matlock until the end of the season.

I wonder if this means that our ex Coventry man is due to sign?

I went to the Cleethorpes v Scunthorpe Lincolnshire Senior Cup Semi Final game.
Max Adamson was confronted by Butler late of this parish a big test for an 18year old, against a team a couple of levels up the pyramid in non league.
He had a very good first half, scored again and looked dangerous  and unlucky not to get a couple more when team mates went for glory when he was unmarked in the area and in an easier position to score.
He became the centre of Scunthorpe's attention and took some heavy challengers when heading the ball on which he did well but took a couple of heavy elbows to the head and was taken off as a precaution  at half time, a big blow to Cleethorpes hopes of causing an upset.
The game ended 2-1 to Scunthorpe Alfie Beestin getting both goals for Scunthorpe, and after Adamson's withdrawal Cleethorpes lost momentum his movement up front provided.
The lad is having a good loan, learning a lot. and has a couple of goals to his name and attracting attention.

Kuleya must have looked at games from more subs benches than anyone else this season, it looks unlucky for Jack who should have had a good loan much earlier in the season.
Flint had a really good loan spell at Gainsborough but was brought back to cover injuries, then fell into the not getting game time on the bench when his progress would have been better served staying on loan playing matches at a good level.
Adamson a rare loan success with Flint when at Gainsborough has done very well in games as a starter and as a substitute at Cleethorpes effecting games when on the field and scoring two goals with three assists, and those two are the pick of the players out on loan, but Max was targeted by the Scunthorpe defence as a danger and took two elbows to the head in the game and is serving 14 days head injuries out of games until next Tuesday when he can play games again.
Some things effecting loans are just bad luck.

Doesn't sound good news for Goodman....

Oh dear indeed.

Debutant Jack Goodman, on loan from Doncaster, looks to be out for the season with a serious foot injury, sustained early on with the soft surface probably playing its part.
