He did while Vennells still had her CBE. Now she's handed it back, I think it's fair enough he's accepted it this time.

She and Terry have apparently done a lot for their home town of Harrogate.

Visited the York Railway museum recently, we paid a little bit extra to go into the Bramall Wonderlab which is a science/engineering part funded by the Bramall family. Got to say it was excellent and very educational for families. Yet another example of the generosity and difference they have made to the local community.

He did turn down an OBE years ago as he felt it disrespectful at the time , but as this is for his persistence and integrity as well for the achievement for his compadres, turning this down have just have been seen a churlish!!
