Dressage
« on August 03, 2024, 02:37:29 pm by BillyStubbsTears »
What the actual f**k is this doing being an Olympic sport in the middle of the 21st century?

And at Versailles.

It's like the 19th century preserved in aspic for the remnants of the European ruling classes.

I reckon we should have international pro-celebrity child chimney cleaning as an Olympic sport in future.

Or Formula 1 races behind a man with a red flag.

Or a time trial to see how many African countries you can colonise in 15 minutes.

Tug of war was included for the first twenty years or  so and a country could enter as many teams as they liked

I am sure you all want to know more  I imagined Germany would always do well but I was wrong

Thought he got disqualified when he had a quick tug?

Same could be said of rowing, because I would like to bet that 85-90 % of rowers went to paid education schools. Also a very high percentage of first class cricketers did as well, there’s not many Freddie Trueman’s play these days.
Some of the players were on scholarships but they went still went to fee paying schools

I’m not really sure whether there is anything to get upset about with regards to the Dressage.
It’s not something I want to watch but I just turn it off.

I think I've been a bit too lenient with some posters on here, hence the tug of war jokes.

It's obvious I'm giving them too much rope.

tug of war used to be the opening sport in the Olympics until an Irish dignitary once cut the rope to declare the games open

So you hate the upper classes as well as the working class. I hate middle class university pricks.

I'll bet you also never realised Scawsby was upper class. It certainly is; we all wear top hats, tuxedos, and Gucci shoes.

The fact that they're all nicked is irrelevant.

Yeah, and most of them are nicked from your upper class neighbours in Bentley.

Imagine having morals so low that you conduct in faux outrage over an equestrian event to try and make a political point, but your OK with blokes beating the shit out of women in the boxing.
