FL yes, with the caveat we got 4 wins and a draw in the first 5 matches of 2002-03 in the Conference

More specifically, before today we had only won the first three home matches of a league or Conference campaign on 7 occasions with the longest run being 5 in 1937-38

Season opening home win runs:
2022-23: 3 (easily forgotten in the awfulness that followed)
2002-03: 4 (in Conference, promoted)
1983-84: 3 (promoted)
1969-70: 3 (good start but poor second half meant mid-table)
1965-66: 4 (Champions)
1958-59: 3 (we ended up being relegated )
1937-38: 5 (runners up, not promoted)
