I mentioned this last year and it was the first time they had done it and I have to say it was top drawer event

Well it's back so please see their Facebook page

Only thing not on the Poster are the times at each location so ....

Sets off Long Sandall Lock 18.30

Passes Barnby Dun Bridge at 19.00 ***

Kirk Bramwith Lock 20.30

New Inn Stainy 21.00 where they tie up and throw Halloween Party with Karaoke

*** Barnby Dun was rammed with people as you may see from the photos and I did a few videos just by mobile phone which I thought weren't half bad

It's all to collect for their chosen Charity the let's face it very deserving Yorkshire Air Ambulance ...

I recommend it to the House

Upstream of Barnby Dun bridge after crowds thin out would be good and Video in one take.

I made error last year as after my mate went by (he was last) we nipped to Glasshouse for a quick one then back to Bramwith Bridge.

Unfortunately we had missed quite a few as they didn't stay together after getting through Bramwith Lock ( which would have been good)

So then boltef to New Inn where again they arrived in a haphazard way . Each looked good but they gained by being in formation like at Barnby Dun

Think I will do there then Stainy

Out of interest , did anyone go.

I went Barnby Dun and took them 45 minutes to pass through

Quite good videos available if you search. Drone footage good and there are 3 on YouTube ones

Parking at BD was a problem as I would guess twice as many people showed up there , so the streets were rammed

Yorkshire Air Ambulance was chosen Charity and they booked booed I am led to believe as they sent just 2 people to rattle their tins to collect change

Overall it was good.
