VIP limo’s

Loads of them last night at the end of the game outside the West Stand, presumably they were for the pampered prem players to take them home, must have cost a fortune

Pathetic, makes me glad I don't contribute a penny to the Premier League.
No subscriptions at all.

The first thought I had when seeing these big expensive limousines with the drivers in uniforms was that they were for the leftie loony BBC presenters and producers of the BBC broadcast, all conveniently forgetting about their Net Zero madness till they got home.

Yes, if two team coaches wasn't enough, it's just crazy and pampering beyond belief.

I iasked one of the drivers if they were for the players and he confirmed that, so no doubt about it. It makes my blood boil thinking about these excesses. Is this a practice mirrored by other PL clubs?

It’s not “Pampering” it’s trying to reduce travel time to aid recovery. Wouldn’t surprise me if there is some sort of bed in the back so they can have a sleep and I’m sure they will get dropped off straight home/ wherever they stay. Makes complete sense from a sporting perspective if money is no object.

To be honest, I couldn’t give a flying f**k what they do with their money.

We gave them a stern test yesterday and that did not look too much like 4th division vs first.

Aww, bless em. Maybe they have their favourite teddy's or comfort blankets to help them sleep too.

Yes they were for the players, they take them directly to their homes.
They must be expensive but without any motorway delays ensures that they do get home at a reasonable time, not like our guys getting home from barrow!

I would personally have preferred to have been driven back to London in a comfortable car at 10:30 pm too. When South Yorks airport  re-opens the private sector could  boom . Road and rail transport in the U.K. is third-world service levels and those clubs that have money will use it to travel from London to Donny .

The London clubs nearly always used charters planes to the airport when they played over in Sheffield.
