Question for stattos
« on April 23, 2025, 02:54:05 pm by normal rules »
Given that there is a scenario on sat where Rovers and Bradford can both secure promotion at the end of their match, got me thinking . How often has this happened across the leagues. It’s must be a rare occurrence ?
Has it ever happened at a rovers game ?

The tragedy for us is that it isn't actually at the end of our match, it's at the end of Walsall's match a couple of hours later - so the reality is that if we lose but Walsall lose then we'd both (us and Bradford) be in party mood - but we'll already be long gone out of the stadium by then.

If we win we're up and can party there and then, equally if we win and Port Vale lose we're Champions there and then (as Port Vale also have an early kick off), but anything other than a win means were waiting on Walsall in the 3pm, which is a kick in the balls.

Shove worrying about Bradford going up. All out for the win and secure our own destiny.

We have to have the belief and after the last few games Bradford will be looking over their shoulder in the latter stages even if they are in front.
