Does anyone else on here remember us playing at Rotherham in the first game of the season when we had our goalkeeper sent off? I think it was possibly in the mid 80’s and we lost 0-3! I’m sure our keeper booted a Rotherham player right up the arse, sending him sky high and got a straight red for his trouble. I remember the away end terrace being absolutely packed and Rovers fans filling a pub on the bridge near the station. I also remember the walk back to the station after the game being really hairy.
