Ghost Ships

I went down to Kirk Sandall to watch the Ghost Ships flotilla tonight having seen Wolfie's recommendation the last couple of years.

A fantastic event that cost absolutely nothing (bar the tenner I chucked in the Air Ambulance bucket). Credit to those who took part and put on a great spectacle with some impressive boat decorations.

Definitely returning next year.

I have video (from phone) of years 1 and 2 and it did get better

I had a Mate with a boat in first one and tried to be clever catching them at Barnby Dun (pint at Glasshouse) after he passed (last) , then raced to Bramwith Bridge but by then they were scattered after going through the Lock there

Then off to New in Stainforth to watch their arrival but it was less of a Parade

Last year I went only to Barnby Dun where the boats passed in one long string and it was very entertaining and very well done
