A ‘proper’ family club.
« on January 23, 2026, 03:04:33 pm by Usher wide. »
I hadn’t been able to get a programme when we played Bolton which had the names of all Rovers players & supporters who had passed in 2025.

I spoke to the guy who sells the programmes (I don’t know his name I’m ashamed to say) at the Southampton game & he said he would bring one for me for tomorrow’s game. Job done.

Then I was thinking in hindsight I could actually do with 3 programmes so I rang the club & spoke to Rachel in the ‘sponsorship team’ & explained my dilemma.

She asked me to hang on the line while she spoke to a colleague. I fully expected her to either say they couldn’t help or at best tell me they would contact the programme seller & pass on my request.

She came back on the line & said “No problem. We’ll send you three out to your home address free of charge”.

I couldn’t thank her enough.

It’s the ‘little things’ that go into making that ‘Rovers Family’ a ‘big thing’.
