They have requested our re-arranged game be postponed due to International call ups

You've literally just read this from a random port vale fan on footballforums.net, literally stated nowhere else. Not saying its not potentially true but can you really see the EFL allowing it (and the wycombe one) with the fixture pile up they already have and the fact they have forced clubs like ourselves to play games at a weeks notice...

https://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/news/2026/february/20/port-vale-clash-rearranged/

We can confirm that our clash with Port Vale has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 24.

The game at the Eco-Power Stadium will kick off at 7.45pm.

While the rearranged date falls within an international period, both clubs have committed to the EFL that the fixture will not be postponed in the event of the requisite call-ups.

They're as good as gone anyway so not really any benefit for them.

Eh? They literally have until tomorrow as the away team otherwise they can't postpone it, as i said in my previous post it is quite possible they have requested but there is no other current source than that one random port vale fan at this moment in time unless you want to provide other sources? Just don't see the point in posting something unless its factual rather than hearsay in this circumstance.

The forum is full of hearsay is it not, it’s what a forum is for, hear something discuss and see if it’s true. Does it really matter where I got that info from given there are only 4 Donny supporters that use it?

I refer you to the post on the official
Site Linked above where it states both teams have committed to not postponing this game regardless of call ups

Well considering that people may think about changing their plans etc if it was to potentially happen then yeah i would stay away from creating a thread about it until there is actually something factual rather than stating something is a fact from a unreliable source.

Not only that, the guy also states the Wycombe game is in question, yet their official site just announced tickets for that fixture today? I know what i believe...
