Dublin Pre-Season
« on April 03, 2026, 09:16:32 am by Rupee92ONLY »
I know it wasn’t confirmed 100% but sounded like it would be the plan. If it’s announced, who’d be going?

Anyone heard any whispers about potential dates? Limited amount of annual leave left so i’ve been holding off booking to go abroad until I know how many days Dublin is going to take.

Hopefully the club aren’t going to leave it all last minute to announce things so as many of us can go as possible!

Well after that performance today, I wouldn’t take them on any preseason trip.
The club have spent money on upgrading can’t park, so leave them all there.

Think we are still waiting for the promised pre-season tour to Thailand. Suspect Dublin could well go same way.

Was Dublin specifically mentioned? Thought it would possibly be Belfast.

If they go to Dublin it would be halfway through the season down there, but in Belfast would be at the start/pre season in the North

They were my thoughts, more likely to be Northern Ireland (Belfast) than Dublin. Especially with Grant being Northern Irish and their season starting the same time as ours.

This is what McCann said in February:

"We want to try and bring the team over to Dublin in the summer. Adam (Grice, head of football operations) is working really hard on that. It's been a long time since we've done it as a club. We want to get the fans with us and we want to get two or three games out there and have maybe an open training session for fans to come and watch. So that's something in the pipeline."
