Well well. Already 2 up at posh. A good result for rovers if they win there . Surely they cannot pull off mission highly impossible ?

At the moment, mathematically, both Vale and Exeter could catch us.

Better for us if Vale don’t win tonight..

They would have to win every game .
Home to Wigan
Away at cardiff
Away at Plymouth
Away at Stockport
Home to Lincoln

Anyone that thinks they will do this needs to go down the bookies . The acca would be huge .

As unlikely as that set of wins would be, you only have to look at our winning run a couple of years ago.

For what it’s worth I don’t think it would happen at all, but whilst ever it could, it could.  As soon as they drop points it’s game over.

Same with Exeter, we only need to better their result once, and they can’t catch us mathematically.  As long as 4 sides can’t catch us, that’s all we need.

Again, I believe we are already safe but will be more content when that’s 100% proven..

And I’m not worried..

Posh have 68% possession. PV might not to be able to put out a team for their final game.

Skybet not even offering odds for Port Vale relegation.

Exeter 4/11
Wimbledon 11/4
Burton, Blackpool 14/1
Leyton Orient 33/1
Peterborough 40/1

Those odds show that it will be down to goal difference if it’s not Exeter.

I do think Exeter will stay up personally.

Burton - Peterborough (a) Exeter (h) Leyton Orient (a)

Peterborough - Burton (h) Stockport (a) Mansfield (h) Donny (h)

I honestly think who ever loses Saturdays game and if Exeter win on Saturday one of the 2 could drop Peterborough are massively out of form and Burton are struggling as well !!

Might be worth £5 on Burton and Peterborough most of you’re season ticket paid for if either come in spent worse £10s

Wimbledon could go down, on a bad run of form and without key players.

They would be shown regularly if they had been scored in the Premier League. I can’t see him being there next season.

THAT’S the quality of loanee we should be snapping up.

That’s a heck of a result for Vale.

And apparently they made 8 changes from the draw with Barnsley.

So many questions spring to mind with that statement.
Looking 20 seconds of footage he’s a world beater, surely?
Reality, he hasn’t saved them from going down, why not?
End of season type match, suddenly tuned himself in and playing for a contract?
Etc etc

He came on with over half an hour to go at our ground, I can’t recall Archer as being outstanding against us.
He did well but, not as a game changer.

I liked the look of Ethon Archer at Cheltenham when we won league, thought he’d be a good signing for us so kept an eye on how he’s done. Just a bit too inconsistent still for me to want as a loan signing. Will be a brilliant player I think but we have no chance of getting him on a permanent deal.
