Know him well do you, to make that sort of claim.?
Nah, f*ck him. He’s not done it in a natural way anyway, so his health will probably still be a mess. Might be worth a bet for promotion/title next season though Bristol Rovers. If he’s there it tells you the club plan on a really big budget.

When people who know nothing write it in such a way as to imply they know it as fact, it's very frustrating. Too much stuff posted on the internet by people that know nothing, for people who don't always challenge what they are reading and take it as gospel.I have no time for Steve Evans and his murky past, but I will give him credit for his weight loss. Despite what Rupee spouts, I understood it was actually done properly with exercise and diet alongside medical support. And it was something he recognised he had to do for his health. As I said, I have no time for him, but I will commend him for what he's achieved and how he's turned his health around. I still want him to lose every game, mind!

Its more obvious that the steriod junkies that claim they are all natural[/quoteI lost 6 stone in six months ,by cutting out beer ,bread eating healthy and not consuming more than 1500 calories a day and fasting 1 day a week and exercising 5 days a week ,it was not easy but can be done if your disaplined and once you see the improvement in yourself it's easy to carry it on

When you are as overweight as he was, losing 6 stone can be relatively quick. Check out this article in Men's Health magazine from September 2025 and you'll see he has maintained/increased his weightloss since that time.https://www.menshealth.com/uk/weight-loss/a66034165/steve-evans-weight-loss/ As I say, can't stand the guy, but I have to commend him for this. Please don't see me as a fan of the bloke - the weightloss hasn't allowed him to shake off his murky past!
Roversdude & Idler. My original post was just an observation on the current physical look of Steve Evans, as I truly didn't recognise him when I first switched on the Stevenage game, it was only when the presenter said his name that I realised it was Evans, his appearance really took me aback. I was just curious as to what other football followers thought of his weight loss. I understand it's not a direct Rovers topic, but he's been mentioned on here plenty of times by Rovers followers, he is part of our history as an opponent after all.
