Seconded.

Plus, judging by a number of our players, they wished it had been too.

Suely your not refering to the numerous times he shied away from opportunities to win the ball from the opposition?? It didnt go un-noticed by me either. Maybe he didnt want to get his legs dirty? - Bless him!

Oster was awful. Just awful. The guy sat behind me to the left of the press box decided to abuse and threaten me when I dared to question the MOM decision, saying Oster was 100% better than anyone else. Shame you scarpered before the end my friend. Don't worry, I'll be sat there again on Saturday so you can throw some mre threats and insults at me.

JOC was man of the match, by a country mile. IMO, obviously.

Thought Mutch had a good game considering - put in 5 times the effort shown by Oster.

There were 2 players the rest of the team were carrying in the game tonight in my opinion - both in midfield, one of them being Oster. So, in all honesty, we didnt do too badly, considering only nine players bothered to show up!

It`s hard to pick one, but that is as good a choice as any.

I didnt think Oster was that bad. Mutch had a good game and I thought he should have been given MOM.

I'd actually chosen Oster, not so much for how good he was, more to do with how poor the rest were.

Poor poor display, first half hour especially   :(

How was Copps? He was utterly annonymous on the commentary. Paul even said he hadn't contributed much. I'm starting to think we'd be better off without him for a while even if he can occasionally turn a match all on his own. Or is that being ridiculous?

I actually thought copps was in top 3 players tonight, didn't do bad. Showed confidence and took players on, just got crowded out a lot.

Thought Mutch was mom, Copps and Wilson were terrible. Why do our defenders let ball bounce instead of heading.

How bad was that prick with the whistle

Bob.

Im really struggling to think of the last time Copps did turn a match all on his own??

He put a lot of effort in thie evening with very little reward, I though he ran his socks off, but we were carrying a bit of deadwood in the form of a couple of players this evening, Its hard work to play your own game, if your having to pick up other peoples shortcomings as well.

Copps seems to play poor when were at home IMO i think it is down to the pitch being to narrow for his liking, he prefers a big wide pitch such as Hillsbrough's pitch. As he is a player who likes to make long runs with the ball, he seems to struggle on the pitch at Keepmoat as there is less space for him.

Tonight, again, highlighted how much we rely on Stock in the midfield. I didn't think anyone had their worse performance of the season, but none of them certainly had their best. The midfield looked lost, especially wilson, oster made some typical dreadful errors, but on other occasions had a good few runs up the middle.
Mutch was giving his all, as was Sharp (as always). JOC had a relatively good game and so did o'connor.

Don't think Oster got man of the match, but disagreed with a man behind me at match when he thought he should be substituted for Dumbaya?

We all see the game differently......
Copps came into the game more as it went on. Wilson played well for me. Mutch had a good game - looks useful. Oster was shocking. Neshed tackles, slowed the play down when it wanted a quick ball.
All the players gave the ball away at sometime.........
Billy left on his own too long again up front.

Well on to Saturday and 3 more points.....

Agreed we all see a game differently.

Let's be honest, Leicester are a strong team, even without Matty Fryatt they have power and pace, plus a plan B with Howard lurking on the bench.

Even before hearing the line ups, I'd have been happy with a point. Then to hear Stock was out and Mutch was coming in I knew we would be up from a difficult night.

On top of that we were on the back foot from the off and the ref set his stall out early on to favour the 'big' team.

We weathered the storm to be presented with a gilt edged chance to score with Mutch's header and before you could get back in your seat, we were done at the other end.

They continued to look dangerous on the break but we had plenty of possession and created tons of good opportunities but as per we showed again the lack of ruthlessness in the final third.

Even then there were couple of occasions when the ball went agonisingly the wrong side of the post with the keeper floundering.

I thought Oster and Copps for all their weakneses, showed plenty of running and opened up their defence without delivering that killer pass or shot.

I don't think it was a poor performance, I just don't we possess the mentality to go for the jugular and/or make the right decision in that last third. I swear sometimes if we got a penalty, we'd opt for the pass.

No secret that we can outplay most teams up to the penalty area, and no secret that Billy needs a bit of help up there, even if it came from a midfielder who gambled and ran in to the box.

Give the guys a break, we're still punching about our weight !

Quite. It wasn't so much as we were overly bad, but that Leicester got it right.

They got the early goal then strangled the game with ten men behind the ball - which we struggled to break through. It's that simple.

Good summary that. I think it may have been different if they were down to 10 men, as they should have been, but alas c'est la vie  :pinch:
