Anyne would think England are a one mman team, which is frankly insulting to the others who pull on the shirt - especially the likes of Peter Crouch, who's England scoring record is nothing short of phenomenal.

Christ, I'm glad I ain't the only one who thinks Crouch is fantastic. Everyone at work thinks I'm bonkers because of my high opinion of him, and to a lesser extent Theo Walcott who I tipped to be a star as a 16 year old in Southampton's first season in the Championship after relegation. I think Walcott could be the trump card for us in South Africa. After missing large chunks of the season he should go to the world cup as fresh as a daisy.
