Prepare to share the home end with West Brom fans

Could be a bit of disaster, especially if we win our next two games. I've just got a feeling there will be trouble. Don't know why.

I haven't a problem with it,and think they are as good as up now even if they lose all their remaining games

I can just see alot of demand from our own fans if results go our away. More so than usual. I'd rather see more Donny fans in than them lot, and wouldn't be happy if it meant our own fans missing out.

If our own fans miss out it will be their own fault for not buying tickets in a reasonable time frame...

I don't mind away fans coming in the home ends as long as they behave themselves, afterall, its more money for the club.

So, on that assumption, would you rather share the home end with West Brom fans, rather than late buying Rovers fans if you had a choice?

The logistics are you need a doncaster postcode to buy in rovers end -
Newcastle / Leeds all have reasonable fan bases here but dont think many support Baggies .....why would you ?

Do you need a Doncaster post code? A lot of my family members don't and they don't have any issues.

I wouldn't rather share the home ends with West Brom fans, but Rovers fans have been able to buy tickets for a long time now, if they don't want to commit until a few days before then its their loss.

Rovers fans have denied 'home' fans tickets at games in recent years, and it would be hypocritical for us to then go and moan about others doing the same to us. I'd do the same if I couldn't get a ticket in an away end.

Norfolk, the ticket office have recently seemed to employ a tactic of not selling to anyone who isn't on their database. I witnessed it when buying my Barnsley ticket, and a poster on here couldn't get a Newcastle ticket either.

I'm sure I read on their forum though that quite alot have bought online for the home end with no problems.

I don't know why they couldn't build a removable temporary wall for the concourse in the North East corner, so that a few more hundred seats could be given to away fans in the event of an away sell out. I'm not sure of the layout of the East Stand but I guess it's the same as the West whereby there are bogs and catering in the corner section of the concourse near the away fans.

what a piss poor comment.
some folk cannot commit to buying a ticket early due to financial reasons.I for one fall into that bracket due to been self employed. work is quiet at the moment but if i get some in for next week i for one will be buying my ticket late

Tickets have been on sale for the West Brom game for ages. No doubt a lot of fans will buy in the coming days, but if WBA fans do decide to help fill the home ends, as long as they behave themselves and don't be too intrusive then I haven't got a problem whatsoever. It could potentially be their promotion day and given that we did the same thing at Cheltenham, it'd be hypocritical if we slagged them off for doing exactly the same as what some of us did at Whaddon Road.

P.S - On a side note, what a great crowd it was today. Over 10,000 for an unattractive home fixture against Plymouth, when there's been plenty of home/local games recently. Well done to everyone who attended!!

Less than 10k though from Donny, when you consider what was at stake is a pretty poor showing. It was a much bigger game than the Newcastle one the other week, but it goes to show, its not Donny that people want to see, and thats the problem we have when it comes to attendances.
