iPhone Problems
« on June 08, 2010, 11:58:52 am by MrFrost »
Has anyone had any problems with the back cover on their iPhone cracking. Mine has developed two cracks and I'm not sure how. I've read up that it seems to be a common fault, especially on the white ones. It seems that Apple are 50/50 whether they will fix it under the warranty.

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced it?

What problems did you have? Maybe if I took it with another fault aswell other than cosmetic damage they may change it..............

I went with a whole list of faults written down, I can`t remember them all at the moment but one was it was constantly searching for the o2 network and another was it was intermittently dropping the Bluetooth connection all the time. The Bloke in the shop checked the warranty and swapped it straight away, he didn`t even check for the faults

I've not had this problemo. Although I have a back cover on my iPhone and also some military stylee film cover on the front. My phone is black.

The only problem I had was the multi call talk. I rang Vodaphone and they pinged it from somewhere and now it works fine.

Cracking phone (well it is literally for Mr Frost) and definitely what this summers Rovers player/fan will be sporting, according to all the said magazines.

I saw a bit on watchdog last week about iphones...there are two little dots, one at the top where you plug your earphones in I guess and one at the bottom where the charger goes, if they are red, apple wont do anything as they say the phone is water damaged, even if it isn't.

These cracks are causing lots of problems for other companies too.

Only last week British Airways grounded all flights from Heathrow after they found 4 inch cracks in all their stewardesses.
