if he was back from holiday last weekend, it's time the lad was signing for the mighty Rovers

I just cant see it i really cant.We have people saying glowing things about how great it is at Donny but we have been reminded this summer that the bottom line is,that if a club offers half a farthing and a bag of Nobbys nuts more than us they will be off quicker than a dose of the clap round Rotherham.
Billy knows he will be on his way,so do the Blades but i would be amazed that we were were either his option financially or carear wise....
My main concern is not if we sign Billy but who are we missing out on who might be a realistic option while Billy plays the field....I know this will not be the most popular of posts but back in the real world at Doncaster Rovers!!!!!

Who says we are still after him, who's to say were not going to pull another blinder and silently go about signing some other quality striker.

We all thought the sky was falling in when we missed out on Kennedy and we signed a player who in my opinion is better and more experienced.

Missing out on Billy would not be the end of the world, I'm sure SOD and ROK have got plenty of irons in the fire and are monitoring the situation of many players. I don't think they're daft enough to be waiting for Billy to sign and letting other targets walk on by.

I think DRFC should push the transfer boat out in pre season. Why not try and sign players like Robbie Keane, Ashley Young and Darren Bent. IMO I think it would send out the right message to all and sundry that Donny are looking for players Young, Keane and Bent.

Neither did I to be honest, I've got faith in the club and I trust their judgement
