Paddy Power already paid out on Mayweather.

Why have they done that?

Because he will win.

Paddy's also pay out on Premiership teams if they take a two goal lead.

I get that. But what do they benefit from paying out so early?

Publicity.

Yeah agreed that it wasn't a brilliant fight.

I think Mcgregor can hold his head up high though, he easily won the first three round, wasn't dropped once and went ten rounds with probably the best boxer ever. He did well, fatiuge played its part as expected and Mayweathers class showed in the end.

Lets be honest, the money they've both generated from this fight is insane..  There aren't no losers as far as that is concerned.

I hope Mayweather calls it a day at 50-0 and hope that Mcgregor takes the positives from this experience and goes back to UFC.

The fight went exactly how Mayweather wanted it to go. McGregor was absolutely useless!

Mayweather could have taken him at any point.

Conor was out of steam by the fifth round.

The fight was better than expected. Mayweather was a shadow of his former self in the early rounds and McGregor did well early on, however the usual problem with McGregor reared its head and he was blowing hard by the 6th. At that point there was only going to be one winner. Still, round 10 against the best ever in your first professional match ain't bad, especially since it was close in terms of points until the 10th when McGregor completely collapsed.

The best part of the fight was how annoyed it made the boxing nerds.

Mayweather didn't spar for a month leading up to the fight and after 10 rounds looked like he could do another 10 without breaking sweat. Conor looked like he'd been shot with an elephant tranquilliser.

Conor had guts, you'd expect that from a MMA fighter, but the smarter classier fighter won, at a canter in the end. All Conor ever had was a punchers chance, once Mayweather felt his best shots he knew he could take him whenever he wanted. At leastMayweather gave the mugs that paid £25 a good show for their money

To me this was brilliant....not as a sportsmen but as a businessman...I would go as far as to say it was the biggest legalised robbery in history....A 40 year old guy who hasn't had a fight for a few years against a mma fighter who had the boxing skills of a amateur...And they managed to turn it into the biggest grossing fight of all time....From the 12 months of will they wont they, the pre fight roadshows and wwe style performances, to the fight itself where Mayweather dragged out a fight he could have finished in 5 rounds to try and fool the punters...I tip my cap to all involved in turning this comedy show into making all involved rich....An average boxer would have beaten him easily enough....
