6500-7000 is probably achievable
5 weeks until the season starts, so I'd say 6500-7000 is probably achievable, especially if we bag a cutting-edge signing in the next week or so.I was speaking with a Wednesday fan at work this week and he said for the first time Wednesday were offering a half-season ticket for the first half of the season. What do you lot think? Good idea or bad?
Maybe better to focus on a Saturday only (or midweek only?) season ticket, or selling tickets in blocks of 5,10 or 15 (like the Super6 offer), where you can choose which games you go to, but pay up front?
If we signed a good player this week, for argument's sake, which would strengthen the squad immeasurably, would we have the likes of MrFrost, again for argument's sake, finding the cash for his ST from somewhere?
The thing is though, Bob, footy fans are easily swayed from doomed naysayers to rabid fanboys by perceived positivity from the club.If we signed a good player this week, for argument's sake, which would strengthen the squad immeasurably, would we have the likes of MrFrost, again for argument's sake, finding the cash for his ST from somewhere?
Not moaned, merely pointed out that they should have, and would have been higher had Rovers thought outside of the box and offered solutions as pointed out above and put a proper marketing scheme out. They didn't, so sales will be low.
