i think Stock leaving would be the one thing that could dampen my enthusiasm this season.

Mine too, a fit and healthy Stocky pulling the strings in midfield would be hard to replace (as long as he is fit and healthy)

yeah, i'd agree with that. to the untrained eye his dodgy back looks a liability, and any transfer would be a risk. this season will be a telling one for Stocky and his whole career.

When the guy can't travel more than 3hrs on a coach without suffering ill effects it ain't a good sign. And there'd be a hell of a lot more coach journeys from Southampton!

He's from Winchester, near Southampton, and I believe his wife is too...thus wanting to move back down SOUTH!

I'd slap £1M price tag on him and accept the nearest offer. Remember we bought him for 150k 4 years ago and could replace him i think.

This \"rumour\" has been heard on here, by possibly every member, for the past two years.

Is it his wife or girlfriend, does she come from Southampton or Preston?

His interview on DROS is hardly that of a player that is leaving.

It goes without saying that we absolutely need our captain to stay. We have a very strong midfield, of which Stock is an integral part, that will load the gun for Billy Sharp to fire the bullets!

Dont be so sure,i would not be surprised if Stocky went before the transfer window closes,we all know his family want to go back down south and i also know he was only hours away from signing for the Saints in january.
   Dont think its a cast iron certainty that he will stay,i would say it 50-50...and todays signings well may provide the clue to his future.!!
