On radio Sheffield last night JR reported DRFC are looking to extend the current contracted players mentioning Stocky and Copps in particular.

Thats great news.  I thought we'd learnt our lesson after Greeny went, but Robbo was a shock.  

I think the club assumed he'd sign up again, and to be fair I think he expected just to sign a new contract too, but neither of them expected anyone coming in with more money for him.

We cant leave ourself open to that again.

Agreed.  When first teamers and valued members of the squad come into the final year the board must decide quickly if they want to continue employing these players!!!

Robbo was very consistent last year, used to our way of playing, so gutting to see him go down the m1
