A couple of centimetres more, or a slip and Reubens would have been in that wall and seriously hurt, it was miles offline and could have been a serious accident.

10 place grid drop isn't punishment enough, Schumacher should know better.

Watching that live was kind of scary from the on board camera, so close to that wall.

Schumacher should have been banned for the remainder of the season - end of story.

Did anyone watch the Top Gear segment on Senna recently? They were praising him for exactly the same stunt that Schumacher performed. A case of one rule for one driver, one rule for the other?

I'm not condoning his actions in any way, to me the wilful harm (or attempted harm) of anyone is not on. However, you could argue that they're in a ridiculously high risk sport and they're being paid unimaginable amounts of danger money.

I can't help but think that the British really have stamped their health and safety consciousness on the rest of the world.

If Schumacher killed himsen, HE'D be a hero as well.

As it is, he exposes the hypocisy of the world's biggest non-sport.

I'll never forget the time he ran Damon Hill off the road and cost hgim the Championship as a result. I bet you can't guess who the beneficiary was.... And guess what? The FIA did nowt about it that time either. The bloke's a menace. He always has been.

I assume your talking about this approx 1:40 in.....

The Senna / Prost battles were legendary, the Schumacher v anyone battles are simply petulant and childish as Scumacher has never had a gracious bone in his body. I mean, cmon, Scumacher could never even put up with a team mate having equal status as himself - now he has been forced to accept that scenario he is having is arse kicked by Rosberg.

It is quite strange that F1 is actually a sport played out in research & development,  wind tunnels  and simulators - then when the car is as good as it gets they pass it to a couple of nutters to run it round a track. If someone else has an R&D that works better they then complain to the governing body about it. The most selfish in F1 have generally found themselves to the best cars eventually.

The only good thing about this year's events is that the team with the car that is far and away the best has Vettel & Webber driving, and their mistakes have allowed everyone else to remain in the game up to now.

It seems that people watch it to see if there's a crash at the first corner, then they can forget about it because little else will change.
