We won't get Beeby again- he's retired.

Having had the dubious pleasure of watching Albion Rovers v Airdrie on Saturday (while on holiday in Scotland) I can say that standards of refereeing are as bad north of the border- if not worse- than they are down here!

A personal favourite of mine is a certain Miss Amy Rayner (lineswoman), always at least a yard behind play!!!

She's now Mrs Amy Fearn. There are now four female officials on the Assistant Referees list- in addition to Fearn, Ihringova and Massey, there is Sarah Garrett. Followers of non-League football tend to be complimentary of her looks rather than her refereeing style. Mind you, most refs aren't even good to look at!

This is a personal favourite of mine though:

Podgeworthy ?? Cant say I've heard that before. ... Im all for women in football but the comment ' Meanwhile, some bloke is going hungry and the dishes are piling up.' did bring a smile to my face!!
