The most worrying thing about that article is how can someone with so many kids who's on benefits afford the latest football shirts and to go on expensive days out!

That said, she looks that scary she'd probably give Sleuth nightmares!

What? I thought it was bloke. Shudder.

I thought it was a very good service.

The bit where Elton John dueted with Gazza on I fought The Law was particularly moving.

RIP leg end.

She hailed the killer as a hero and called him a \"good role model\" for Joe, 15, Jed, 14, and 13-year-old Jess.

I pity poor little Jethro, 6, who had to stay at home.

I've just watched the ITV interview with PC David Rathband and family. The scum that celebrated what Moat did should be forced to watch it and consider what they are actually standing for.

I'm not sure how things work where this dreadful woman at the funeral is concerned. Does she really believe in what she was saying or did she just see an opportunity to gain infamy in the gutter press? I don't know if they pay her to create a story, in which case they all deserve the public scorn and the newspaper should be shamed for it.

If The Sun journalists aren't really out there fishing for this kind of terrible story then they should walk away from a low life like her, don't give her the platform to publicise her appalling thoughts. It isn't news, it's just utter shame in print and I'm embarrassed to have read it.

Surely a good enough reason, Jon, to promise yourself that you will never, ever, read a page from that rag ever again, nor follow any link to its pages?!

I made that promise many years ago now - and I am in the extremely happy position of not knowing what the chuff the woman said nor what the arse wipe have done. I am a happy chappy tonight then :)

Cheers!

I definitely wouldn't buy the rag but unfortunately I have to admit to clicking on the link and sometimes you can't avoid your eye catching the headlines as you walk through a shop. I remember nearly falling over when they had Simon Cowell occupying the front page telling everyone why they needed to vote Tory.

Bob, I haven't read a red top for ages, but I still know that some daft bint who has a multitude of offspring went North with 3 of her brood to be at the funeral of this person.

Like Jonathan, I watched the programme 'tonight', and no matter what your views regarding the police are you could not fail to be moved by the response from this PC and his family.

Tough times are ahead for them just for being in the wrong place wearing a uniform.

I'm not sure whether I'm lucky, of foolish. As I haven't watched tv in years I don't get this news from anywhere. The paper I read, and most of you will be able to guess which one it is, simply doesn't report that kind of thing. And I am very glad it doesn't. So I have no idea what this woman said, why she said it or who put her up to it. All I need to know I do already. Some poor copper was killed. His wife and family have had their lives ruined as well.

Bob

Not quite Bob, he was blinded for life after being shot twice at point blank range whilst simply sitting in his patrol car doing his job. In many ways the story this evening was even more moving as he's still here to tell the tale and demonstrate how hard he is striving to rebuild his life with his young family.
