Shocking defending!

Friend might be good going forward, but he's a weak full back.

I know we haven't got much money to spend on transfers but signing fat women is definately not the way to go.

Get Locky off, bring JOC in to middle, Dumbuya down the right and Woods off for Brooker.

As is common with Rovers once we go behind, we capitulate and go on to lose.

The signs were there v Bristol last week when they were unlucky not to extend their lead before we got a last gasp equaliser....worrying times defensively.

That is exactly what I wouldn't do!!

We'd get ripped apart.

As DP says - Damage limitation.

I just hope we can get one back now to make it look respectable.

We've been very naive here. Hopefully we'll learn our lesson.

And conversely, other than Billy ofcourse we don't sound effective up front either

The limitation has caused the damage. How do we learn about players, formations unless you give them a chance.

Id agree folks poor old Mr Friend is getting found out big time, I think that teams will pick him up as a target area.

I'd rather us sit on this and lose 3-0 than put a load of strikers on and lose 5 or 6.

Exactly why I suggested Locky Off and JOC in middle.

4-0 is embarrassing though.  I hope we learn a lesson from this though - it's not often we et thrashed.  Anything to say Sean?

We usually get 1 or 2 thrashings per season. Hopefully we're getting it out of the way early doors :D
