Sir Francis \"Exposed\" Shocker!
« on November 26, 2010, 09:56:14 am by Wokingviking »
So, we only got back into the FL through the efforts of an erstwhile Dirty Leeds player...

...we have all, my friends, been betrayed by a Jock who underwent some incredible metamorphosis and re-designated himself as a scouser.  Or summat.

Read it and weep: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Gray

Ahem, I have a passing interest in Woking FC and wondered where Frank Gray (ex-manager) had got to (or should I say Francis Tierney Gray).  I am obviously typing this on a new PC having got rid of the infected one.

Joking apart, one of our lot must have done that on Wiki (not me though)?  I can't believe that Frankie Gray has that middle name for real.

I'm sure it's genuine.... and just a coincidence.

If you search on Google on Francis Tierney Gray there are lots more references to his full name including a Leeds United Website.

Scottish people have the habit of giving their offspring a family name as their middle name which can often result in unusual names such as this.

I wonder what Frankie thought when he saw his namesake \"Sir Francis\" sliding in the winner at the Britannia Stadium.  It still sends a shiver down my spine just to think about it!

Never knew that about the Scots POD - interesting.  And solves the riddle!
