Try and get Matthieu (sp.) Berson. He's a free agent.

Cheers I will do :)
Took Eastmond on loan and Lansbury is a possibility

Is Mutch on loan to another club yet on your patch? (I'm on patch 3 and can't remember)

Currently in 10th, something like 5 off the playoffs. I'd give you more stats but I can't get onto the game - no access to the computer.

Ok let me know when you can.what season you in and how far if you know? :)

Meanwhile,

in for me...

Anderson Silva (good enough, first team regular,my replacement for Woods.
Adriano Basso (good keeper)
Jay Demerit (good player and worth a contract)
Jose Goncalves (must sign, fantastic and worth a lot too,on a free)
Febian Brandy (Good sub and nicks a goal, cheapish wages too)
Michael Ball (when fit one of the best defenders in championship worth a contract injury prone)
Jason Euell (chipping in with goals and a good buy, easy 12 goal a season man.cost me 250k)

out for me...
Martin Woods (525k,decent fee and got a better player on a free in Silva, good business)
Gary Woods (loan deal for season,Tranmere, first team football)

Contracts
Josh Payne 2 year extension, heard hes decent after first season so a bit of business there)

Tomorrow i will be offering contracts to Stock and Coppinger and maybe a few more out of contract,if the ones with 1 year left don't accept then i will sell in January.

Season so far...

Nottingham Forest 2-1
Morcambe 3-2 (leauge cup first round)
Swansea 0-0
Barnsley 1-0
Carlisle 2-0 (leauge cup second round)
Burnley 0-1
Derby County 2-1
Leeds United 2-2
Watford 2-2 - second half comeback from 0-2
Cardiff 2-1

Next up is Arsenal in the leauge cup 3rd round, expecting defeat though, not on game at moment so can't check my stats in depth but almost certain Sharp is top scorer on around 7 in the leauge, doing really well...

So far so good...

Am i doing ok?

Well I finally quit as Rovers boss in 2029. I'd won 7 leagues in a row but my enthusiasm disappeared overnight. I lost the Super Cup (again again!) and then lost in the league a few days after so I well and truly spat the dummy and resigned. A few months later I got the Real Madrid job and won the league (which was amazingly their first league win in 14 years on the game!) and as football always is, I beat Rovers (now managed by Lee Clark) in the CL final. Rovers finished 4th in the Prem and sold a few players that made me raise my eyebrows but at least Clark is retaining a lot of my youngsters so I've left the club with a solid base to build on.

I'm still only in 2015 on mine but its looking good. On top of the prem about to defend my title with 8 games left. Also into the Semis of the Champions league and FA Cup

The youth team haven't lost in 2 seasons

And i've still got JOC on the books! Gets a game against Sheff Utd who have become the ultimate yo-yo team. They finished bottom of the prem with 8 points a few seasons ago

Thats good, it took me a bit longer to crack the league, I think 2020 was my first win although I'd been a top 4 side from 2016 I think. The Spanish league is much easier than the Prem. The Real squad wasn't up to much but I still won the league with 100pts and 119 goals.

If your using anything software wise that isn't Windows 7, sometimes when you get windows updates it messes the saves on FM up, vista is the worst for it. Don't know if anyone knew this thought i'd just say.

Finished my first season 14th in Championship.
2nd season won my first 7 games with Billy Sharp, John Guidetti and Fabio Zamblera scoring goals for fun.

Joe Mason has proved to be a fantastic signing as has Kakuta on loan from Chelsea.

Spent very little money and am 40k under my weekly wage budget, so it can't be bad\"

I always end up signing quite a few good free agents and smashing my wage budget. Thing is I've gotten good enough to know I can fight my way to promotion (when the bas**rd save doesn't corrupt..) so it's less of a risk.

Just finished my 2nd season and lost in the Championship play offs to QPR 5-3 on agg.
Was fairly sure of automatic promotion until one of my players ruined the squad harmony and morale sank. He has been moved on as a result.

Just preparing for my third season and have signed Hleb on a free from Barca!!!!
Have made the club £4 million profit in my 2 seasons in charge and am 50k per week under my allocated wage budget. Wheeling and dealing!!

Excellent stuff. Just wondering - what did he do to bring down the morale, or was it just his personality?

You got any decent or exciting youngsters coming up yet? Before my last game corrupted :headbang:  I had a kid dubbed the next David Beckham, moved him on for £7million. Youth is the way to go seemingly!

Just about to finish the 2015 season and i've come third in the League behind Chelsea and City. Won the FA Cup for the 2nd season in a row and have got Juve in the final of the Champions League to play next.

Most of my players are all gen-ned and are 18-21 year old wonderkids but there are a few proper players...Alex Smithies, Alan Hutton, Joe Mattock, Henrique, Nedum Onuoha, De Jong, Miguel Veloso, Gary O Neill, Dzeko and Leigh Griffiths and of course...JOC

On a side note...started a new season with Stafford (in the most debt and i like a challenge). Start with -10 points but after 6 games i'm on +5 points with a +24 goal difference. Even better is teh fact that Rovers are 2nd in the Championship...they've sold Deano, JOC and Willo and bought Jordan Spence and George Elikobi (both on loan)for the season as well as some random Dutch blokes

On your Rovers save - how long and how much did it take you to assemble the squad (well, just taking into account the real players)? and have you made any improvements to your facilities yet? Most I could get in terms of the KM was 500 extra seats in the away end...

Stafford? legend. Reckon you could end up promoted this season or is that a bridge too far?

How is Leigh Griffiths shaping up? How long have you had him? I'm still in my first season with him. He's going through a lean patch. But i need to stick with him. My step son had him score 45 goals in his first season, and hes still getting quiet a few in the premiership.

Leigh Griffiths is a great signing when you first start. Comes off the bench cos he was behind Sharp and now he's my 5th Striker. Heres his stats since i signed him (All these are prem league except 1st year obviously). Now he's rated as a decent Prem player. Might sell him for £4 mill tho as i've got a youth player dubbed the next

2011 - Played - 30. Goals - 17 Assists - 10
2012 - P - 28, G - 8, A - 5
2013 - P - 27, G - 11, A - 8
2014 - P - 30, G - 20, A - 10
2015 - P - 18, G -5, A -3

The Stafford game is brilliant. On your first day your 600k in the red and get a transfer embargo about 2 weeks into the season so you can't sign anyone. I got a keeper who is equal to a good League 2 keeper apparently which helps a lot. Promotion might be on the cards through the playoffs because Telford are storming it (there 16 points clear of me atm and haven't lost yet. Although i did beat them in the FA Cup :) ).

As it stands i'm 5th (not forgetting minus ten start), i've played 15, 11 wins, a draw and three loses. Scored 36, conceded 9 and i've got an FA cup second round reply at home to Notts County. Unbelievable Jeff

The Donny save is as good as i can ever get it. Tempted to restart but theres no way i could improve on it. KM capacity is 20231. I've got good corporate facilities, top training facilities and an excellent youth set up. Just improving my scouting range now

2012 - Spent £6m in first season in Prem getting Gara Dembele (sold for £4.5m), Ivelin Popov (sol for £6m) and Raul Nava (now worth £7m and a full international for Mexico). Also got Charlie Adam on a free (result) and Beckham on a free in January.

2013 - Spent £10m on a couple of genned players (one is now getting offers of £10m but i'll never sell him). Bough Alex Smithies (still my keeper now), Dodo (linked to Man Utd in real life) and got Gary O Neill and Alan Hutton on frees.

2014 - This is what did it. Spend £18m (£11m on my wonderkid from Sheff Utd, £4m on a Brazillian DM and £2 on a Dutch winger...all are now Wonderkids). Also got Edin Dzeko, Nigel De Jong and Henrique (Brazil Int CB) on free transfer. I shit you not :saywhat: Won the Prem and FA Cup that year

2015 - Spent £42 million. £7m on assorted youth players (this is the trick...scout 16 year olds at the start of each season and poach the best from the lower leagues youth set-ups before they are allocated high values. Needs to be done within a week of them being created). Also got Alan Dzagoev and a few 18 year olds who are handy. Also spent £21m on a Brazillian RB who turns out to be a liability ha

Stafford - you gonna publish \"the 'real' league table\"?

Donny - sounds good - how much did Griffiths cost anyway? and Jeparov (Uzbeki midfielder, costs around 95k) is an excellent signing, still mixing it up in the Prem in 2014 (until my save corrupted :headbang: )

I might have another crack at the game tonight. Haven't been on for a while because it did my head in always corrupting my hard work :(

I would if i could...i'll take that idea to the board :)

Griffiths was 300k. Jeparov looks good but is too old now. I have 9 players over the age of 25, everyone else is under. Who says you can't win anything with kids. Just won the champions League now. 1-0 over Juventus...shocking game. Neither team could score until Nava fluked one.

Bargain, much? I'd still bring him in just for a bit of experience, and if he's still good, I'd be offering terms (unless you've got a big squad obviously). Love flukey winners :) especially against the big boys!

I've having a clear out now. De Jong is going as i've got 18 year olds that are as good if not better.

Alex Smithies wants £50k a week now so he'll be on his way i think. He's got 3 years left still. None of this \"letting player's contracts run down to 12 months\" with me :)

Ah, even still though I'd keep a few old heads in there, just so you've got someone to nurture youngsters.

Third season has started shocking.
2 points from first 3 games.

New signings including Hleb aren't cutting it at all.

And I was so close in my 2nd season.

Don't suppose anyone knows any good torrent sites where I can download this for nowt (including keygen) that doesn't require burning to CD?

.. Working nights have become slightly more boring since good 'ol SpectrumZX games site crashed and Kenny Dalglish Soccer Manager (1990) disappeared :(
