Newcastle v Arsenal:

Having watched the game on MOTD last night I can't help but think that the FA need to look into the circumstances around this game! Either Phil Dowd and his assistants had a complete mare, or there were some other forces in action. I would check betting patterns on this game as well!

Totally agree. Some very strange decisions & the most dodgey penalty I have ever seen.

Referee's are impartial, and IMO, they must always be thought of as impartial. To think of them as anything other opens up a very dodgy can of worms that would have serious ramifications for football and sport as a whole!

So we must never question an official's impartiality to avoid \"ramifications\"?

My main concern was that Diaby got sent off for use of hands! Why didn't Nolan?

...why not indeed.

He shoved Diaby in he original \"handbags\" and clearly clenched his fist at the Arsenal bloke

Then the feisty f****r dragged the keeper around by the neck with the Lino a yard away and if you noticed the Ref was stood hands on hips looking like a disbelieving dad as his offspring are having a set to

Result 1 yellow card and for me inconsistent - he SHOULD HAVE WALKED
