Match preview for this fixture now up for your enjoyment on Viva Rovers.

Ever the optimist I'm going for a 4-3 win. But then I have had a lot of sugar today

I'll go for a standard 1-2 Rovers performance: sparkling first half for 1-0 lead, Pompey 84´ and 90+3´.

No pessimism here Stan! It was my 50th birthday when we won against Crewe in THAT semifinal at the keepmoat, and it will be another win on my birthday today, one for Billy, two for Brooker! 3-1!!!

I'm desperately hoping for a win AND a good performance, one of my Blades supporting mates is taking his little lad today after some peer pressure from my own son.

Well I'm still suffering from the flu, over 2 weeks now so can't go. Hopefully the lads can make me feel better. A 4-1 win would put a smile on my miserable clock  :(

\"Rovers getting the upper hand\", Portsmouth have been trying to rough us up to get their way.

This is supposed to happen at the end of the second half! Need to do something about creating more chances next half.

The ref needs to grow some and start to  deal with them in the way he should have done this half.

1 shot on 2 shots off

Sharp upfront on his own

no wonder the f**king crowd is quiet all the time. Boring football

Nice fluidity though

Positive substitutions - perhaps would have been good earlier? At least there's time to put things right!

Yeah... Hird didn't know whether he was coming or going in the first half. Too similar to Keegan when he's in midfield
