I'd choose -

Woods
O'Connor, Kilgallon, Hird, Mills
~Coppinger, Keegan, Stock, Oster
Sharp, Mason

Somethings wrong with chambers........might be confidence? As friend said on radio dee dah, the whole team is lacking confidence. Speaking of which, although i think friend is not a first choice for us, he came across as an intelligent, if slightly camp, young man.

 he reminds me of an undergraduate, not the one that goes out on the lash every weekend but the one who sits in the library reading up on things very few people give a f**k about.

I usually slate him, but he had a great game (relative to the others) on Saturday. I can't see much wrong with BR's line up to be honest.

lets at least as we are at home go with an attacking formation, not a wall of defenders hoping we can fluke a goal with one man up frontand then hold out. hope sod gets the tactics right.

I'd like to see Kilgallon finally play as a bog standard centre back in a traditional back four with JOC, not as an occasional left back/centre half in a back 3 or 5.

It all depends on who is fit.

Here's mine based on Saturday's bench:

          Woods

Chambo  JOC  Killa  Mills

     Keegan    Wilson

          Stock

     Copps    Oster

          Sharp

Copps and Oster to keep changing position as they did to good effect last season, JOC to marshall Killa, nothing against Sam just can't see him being played instead of Killa. Stock to play further forward and give us forward momentum.

But Sam's been better than Killa so far, and Killa never seems to trust his partner, always nipping across and getting his head on things the other lad had covered anyway. That worries me, when the CBs don't trust one another.

I agree and would put Sam in and have Killa on the bench but I don't see that happening.

3 things

why is everyone picking mills instead of friend who was last time i looked voted 2nd in the MOTM for pompey?  why not pick both mills further forward to add to the woefully slow front line

why pick chambers who seems to be taking his time to get back to full fitness   our best RB is JOC play him in his best position and let sam play in the middle

killa is almost certainly on a loan deal which obliges us to play him when fit  so unless someone from a grassy knoll shoots him in the foot he plays!!! :(

Ok we could put Mills in midfield and play gorgeous. I agree JOC at right back if we had Martis or Thomas fit but we are better with him central has he organises better than Sam or Killa. My line up is only a reflection on a bit of stability with our play makers further forward to give support to Billy. It's an opinion.

Are you having a laugh????? If you were Kilgallon, would you leave hird/martis/webster/lockwood to clear up a loose ball? I wouldn't on the majority of their performances so far this season! Undoubtably, Kilgallon is a class player, he's just taking a couple of matches to settle in, understandable really taking our woeful defence into consideration. I bet he craps himself every match playing alongside friend et al.
