A tale of 2 substitutions!!
« on April 09, 2011, 04:41:20 pm by sha66y »
we are not only holding our own, but looking the more likely to score, its 1-1, and the point is in the bag,

oh no whats this Rovers are taking off Oster, who looks like he is starting to enjoy the presence of Euell and linking well with copps again, and on comes ......Wilson?

Cardiff decide to counteract this extremely devilish substitution by bringing on Koumas the free kick specialist........

which manager has got his tactics right....you decide?

Euell for Oster turned the game our way, Wilson for Gillette turned the game back in Cardiff's favour!

Wilson replaced gillett but I agree with your point.

As soon as we equalised I thought we would pile the pressure on to win it. The negative mentality never seems to let us go full tilt attack.

 fed up of this season.

Oster was poor, especially his decision making with the ball. I would have taken him off too!

He might have got the bit about Oster and Euwell wrong but the rest of his post wasn't wrong was it?
Or are you choosing to ignore that bit Chris?

Gillett was f**ked he had to go off, not sure Wilson was to blame at all, easy f**king scapegoat again. Someone after the match walking back came out with the comment \"That Wilson wants his legs breaking\", I was quite happy to make the point to him that Wilson clearly wasn't at fault.  Easy scapegoat, call themselves fans...... It's pathetic why do football fans always have to do it?

sorry for mistake, it seemed that we were in the ascendancy, and Wilson came on for whoever, and we lost................... i think the point i am making is why bring wilson on at all............ever,

he is by far(in my opinion) the worst player in the current squad,

Oster was garbage. Player of the season my arse.

Why can't he pass to somebody in a red and white shirt like he used to? Sick of seeing him fluffing hopeless floated passes to the invisible man stood behind the opposition's goal.

would agree with filo euell made a huge difference when he came on but im afraid im one of those who knows nothing about football like the majority of those seated near to me, the gillet subbing for wilson was a poor decision. to say he was not at fault, beggers belief and gillet played very well, another poor ref, some good football by the lads.

I agree BFYP ,it's easy to start blaming Wilson, after all it was his wayward clearance that went straight to a Cardiff player, then in his eagerness to make amends when the ball is played back in, he clatteres in to Jay Bothroyd and gives away the free kick that cost us dearly....no hang on a minute that was Kilgallon ,let's make him a scapegoat instead.:headbang:

perfectly put

oster was the right man to take off,  might have put a player like mason on instead of wilson though

Am i the only person who thought Stock had an absolute shocker today? Don't think he found a red shirt all day!
Wilson is an easy target but either way it WAS his fault for the last goal, but he doesn't deserve people wishing for his legs to be broken surely! I thought Gillett looked good today and if it wasn't for a great save he'd have scored.

That's what I would have done, because when Gillett (who was knackered) came off I thought there was only one team going to win it- and they weren't in the blue shirts.

Though it does show the difference when they can send on a full international who also happens to be a free-kick specialist with three minutes to go.

we werent bad at all today going forward, in fact we were a lot better than cardiff! we still however look defensively fragile. killgallon dived in to give them the free kick from which they scored and for the third we committed too many forward and left wilson alone so lets all blame him! ha what a joke.
