The last thing we need is a Spanish 4th division player coming in with no experience of the championship

I'd have said it was for cover, but the Fairhurst situation is a mystery...

Unless Brooker is fit and raring to go on Friday :coat:

Hasn't his loan just expired, rather than him being recalled?

Why on earth will he not recall Fairhurst?

He struck up a decent partnership with Billy last year, didn't he? or am I confusing him with someone else?

He's been on the bench for the last 4 Hereford fixtures which may go some way into answering the question of why he has not been recalled. A Southend fan I know of down here told me he did very little to impress during his loan spell at Roots Hall last year.

I saw so much potential when he started the few times last season.......I am amazed no one within the club see the same?

He has presence, pace and power ....important ingredients for a footballer at the championship level think you would agree!?!

The problem with fairhurst may be something else that we don't see though? Maybe his attitude is bad etc. Obviously SOD sees something we dont and as someone has mentioned, on the bench for a struggling league 2 side for a few games now must go some way to answering the question.

As for Burge maybe it's for cover in the midfield going into the last few games and Burge may have shown potential to SOD since he's been at Oxford that Fairhurst hasn't been showing in his loans.

Fairhurst has been injured before the last four games that is why he has not been playing when he was they loved him because he was willing to have a go a take on defenders and have a shot if he had stayed fit he could have been close to the top of the scoring charts for them

He's missed one game of the 15 Hereford have played since he moved there in February and that was at Gilingham at the start of this month. For the record he's made 9 starts and 5 appearences on the bench scoring 3 goals. Stuart Fleetwood is their leading scorer with 17, Fairhurst would have to go some to be anywhere near the clubs leading scorer....
