FAO Stockton Rover and lovers of good music all!
« on April 28, 2011, 10:30:03 pm by RobTheRover »
Frank Turner's concert from New York is being streamed live on t'interweb tonight.  The only drawback is that its on at 3am our time!  Seeing as nowt of any real consequesnce is happening tomorrow and most of us have the day off I see no reason not to stay up.

I think all his shows over here are sold out now.  If you can get a ticket, do so quickly.  I'm up to Stockton a week on monday to see him.  If its half the show he put on at Preston in December it will be a belter.

Note to self - check the forum more often!
Oh well, seeing as I missed that I will just have to wait for the gig at the Arc.
Have you been to this venue before Rob? If not, its just a small stage in the corner, reasonable standing area and some seats up the side with a small balcony for those who dont like bouncing around....

You are still able to click on the link and see the vid of the concert, as I fell asleep last night but was able to watch it today.

I liked him very much and I bet seeing him in an intimate venue would make it a wonderful experience.

No, never been there before, mate.  From what you say, it sounds as though he will be doing the \"one man and a guitar\" set we saw last night, rather then the powerful \"full band\" set I saw with Sheepskin Stu in Preston.  Both have their relative merits so not overly concerned which he trots out.

Stu and I saw him at a place which holds 1500 and it was jam packed.  The atmosphere was electric!
