we shouldn't be, I thought a club could only release a new kit every 2 years, or does that only apply to the prem?

I think its two years unless you get a new sponsor, although wouldn't think we would be after only one season?

I'd like the club/Nike to try and get some toddler kits in the club shop although I appreciate it was a bit of a rush job last pre-season as we only \"joined\" Nike at short notice.

Jesus! I hope not! We've had kit after kit for quite a while now and it's time they got a proper 2 year run out for a change!

In terms of kit changes, in my 30 years of watching Donny, I can only think of 3 kits that were retained (properly) for more than 1 season ...

The first Carlotti (sponsored by Streetwise)2003/05
The hooped hobott (sponsored by CIL) 1982/84
The red hobott (sponsored by Pilks) 1984/87 - 3 seasons?

1980/1 lynx
1981/2 serena
1982/3 cil (small lettering)
1983/4 cil (large lettering) - although kits were sold without sponsor name, so the sponsoring didn't matter to supporters
1984/5 hobott (pilks)
1985/6 hobott (pilks)
1986/7 hobott (pilks)
1987/8 red spall (st george car centre)
1988/9 red spall (donny FP)
1989/90 white spall (DFP)
1990/91 ribero (large DFP advert)
1991/92 ribero (small DFP advert) - different trim & shinier shirt
1992/93 matchwinner scribbled hoops (DFP)
1993/94 matchwinner scribbled hoops (European car rental)
1994/95 matchwinner (donny star)
1995/96 matchwinner (hayselden)
1996/97 patrick (Richardson sacks)
1997/98 patrick/olympic1/olympic2
1998/99 patrick/prostar/Transform/Asics
1999/00 white beazer homes
2000/01 red beazer homes (with badge change)
2001/02 vandanel hoops (one call)
2002/03 vandanel hoops (ledger mobility)
2003/04 carlotti (streetwise)
2004/05 carlotti (streetwise)
2005/06 changed carlotti (streetwise) - more white on shirt
2006/07 changed streetwise (carlotti advert) - also played in MYA sponsored shirt at Cardiff
2007/08 carlotti (wright investments)
2008/09 vandanel (wright investments)
2009/10 changed vandanel (wright investments)
2010/11 nike (one call)

This is off the top of my head, so there may be some mistakes, but I'm sure it's pretty close.

So basically it is generally a different kit every season (due to sponsorship changes in the middle of a kit deal)....

Nobody's got a \"1987/8 red spall (st george car centre)\" have they?!
