Ahh but I never said I look up to them, they are no different from anyone else in that they eat sleep and breathe..But I do feel for Charles, always have done.. And I rather like the way Phillip says just what comes into his head without thinking... mental tourettes perhaps?

I'd feel a lot more sympathetic towards Charles if he simply accepted his intellectual and personality limitations, shut the f**k up and kept his half baked, uneducated opinions to himself.

As for Philip, he does a good job if putting himself forward as a Clarksonesque blunt talking good lad who says what he bloody well likes but who is basically harmless. It hides a deeply unpleasant set of views on more serious issues.

Go and read some of opinions on over population and what he would do to rid the world of the excess of people that he says we have. Like the other aristocratic Eco-fascists, he barely disguises his contempt for the fact that modern science and medicine have allowed the plebs to proliferate and have a decent material standard of living. In Philip's ideal world, we (not his lot of course - us commoners who are the problem) would be culled and sterilised to preserve the ecological balance and ensure that animals don't go extinct. Presumably so his lot can shoot them.

He's admitted to feeling attracted to Nazi policies in the 30s. He's said that many of his ilk (which in Billy's book of euphemisms means \"I myself\") felt \"inhibitions about the Jews\" and were \"jealous of their success\". His sister married an  SS colonel and named their first born Adolf.   I'm not sure how much more obvious his and his family's political leanings could be.  

He is a deeply reactionary bigot and to me it is sickening that he is seen as an exemplar of Britishness. Charles is nothing more than a sappy and even less intelligent chip off the same block.

I think Prince Phillip and Prince Harry are brilliant, just my personal opinion. I understand a lot of people have negative feelings towards the Royals, but if any of u genuinely can say that if u had the power and money to do a lot of things that they do and have done, then u would be lying!!
