Name your seat?

I collected my season ticket today and there was application forms for supporters to name your seat, you pay £12.50 for the first season and £10 there after. They put a pretty vynil sticker on your seat with anything that you want on the sticker.
Good or bad idea? it's certainly different.

I suppose if they can make some money out of it, I'm all for it. Doesn't appeal to me though.

i'd consider it if the club owned the stadium, as things stand, not a cat in hells chance.

I'll make my own and stick it on  after seeing what they look like after the carling cup game if anyone has one

Are we talking pictures or names on the seats? If every seat had a picture on it the ground would look tacky, and I don't see a point in having your name on a seat?

It sounds utterly ridiculous and mildly depressing tbh. Who on earth would spend money on that? Why not just charitably donate 20 odd quid to the club? It's practically the same thing only without the tacky add-ons.

Agreed 100% - and especailly if the money from the Seat Sticker goes to the Stadium authority NOT the Club

....but you cant blame em for trying !

Who does the money go to anyway? The SMC or Rovers.

It's a tacky idea, but whoever it belongs to you can't fault them for trying.

If it's something like this they're looking to do: http://www.arsenal.com/the-club/your-seat/your-seat-details I think it's quite a good idea to raise a bit of extra cash, as long as it's going to the club and not the SMC of course

One of the walls is full, the other is 90% however, there are two further blocks at NE and NW corners.

I've got a great name for my new seat. R702 !
