Well we did hear SO'D had gone on a scouting mission to France for an Algerian defender! This may well be him. Even if he turns out shite, at least Sean had a holiday to France ;-)

Apparantly he's a lofty 1.91 metres. Certainly not in the mould of of regular players

Theres an interview in French here:

http://www.lunion.presse.fr/article/sports-region/football-cfa2-bouhenna-a-pris-du-galon

Basically, captain of the Under 19's for CSSA who finished 5th in Ligue 2 last year but also broke into the 1st team. Originally Algerian, central defender known for his heading. Could be exactly what we need

Sounds like a determined lad and very professional judging by the interview

Will keep asking the frenchies if they know anything about him.

He hasnt played that high a standard but he is only 20 and definitely got something to offer if he has been taken on.

I see he has played for the algerian olympic team in qualification.

The way I see it, we need CB's who can dominate in the air AND have the ability to play it from the back. This last bits vital because of how we play.
We dont need LOADS of CB's... like we were forced to do last season... just the RIGHT ones for us.
Very difficult to find, but SOD knows what he's after, and there arent many well-known players like this, who are within our price range.  Mills and Shackell were perfect examples of how to see the right player when others dont.
Hope this kid can be another one, but its a long way from pre-season trials to regular first teamer.

That would only work if he had Vikettes dancing either side of him...

I miss the Vikettes, do we know if they've taken anyone on trial this close season?!

SCRAP THAT!!! I've found the new Vikettes. Went into training yesterday (ironically the same day as the Rovers went back to training)

SADLY when you're after Cheerleader who are out of contract beggars can't be choosers!!!

Well if he and Gorgeous George pair up at CB I can see the ladies getting a bit excited.

I had hoped George would come back shaven headed, bearded, and put about 10lbs of muscle on given his new preferred CB role.

you're dead right there, THAT player (whether it's Bouhenna or not) is THE most important for our future

A young centre half is the important one that's for sure.
