'Brilliant striker'?????

Has anyone axtually troubled to look up his scoring record? Or his injury record? God Almighty! Emotional prats the lot of you (Filo excepted).

He's fat. He's slow. He's injury prone and he don't score often at all.

Bob. Did you see Billy Sharp's scoring stats in the two years before he joined us?

And I'll tell you what. Brown might be as fat as Divine on a diet of Supernoodles and White Lightning, but I've still seen few players in the hoops with a brain as quick as his.

Do for me.

You clearly don't have a sufficiently firm grasp on priorities spadger if this is the angriest you have been in years.

No. There are just far, far, far more important things in the world to get really angry about than Bob G's opinions.

Have to remember how people view things..if Sunderland or Newcastle signed a star which Chris is it would have been fans at the ground greeting them but here people gauge reaction with forums etc..

Starting to believe you cant put something there that never possible with majority of our lot called PASSION!

Hilarious. Browny will be straight back over t'pennines cap in hand begging for a contract.

Norfolk will be straight down t'M5 looking for the culprit.

I'd like to agree with Bob .... he was 19 and in Tier 4 when he looked good - and either wasn't fit enough or hungry enough to play for a relegation haunted team last season.

Big Risk - it's now up to him to prove himself.

Chris Brown is proven at this level forward play is not sll about scoring but I see him adding whole new dimension to the side with set plays, corners and general forward movement.

Certain pictures dont do him any favours and he looked over weight but in SOD we trust and I am sure he will be a massive hit!

FFS give the man a chance I believe as stated below one of our best signings not at least cos he adds much needed height to the squad and he is also extremely good on the floor.

I'm sure if you went through the posts on here two years ago you'd have found one or two that described John Oster as \"washed up\" or a \"has-been\" when we signed him. He went on to have a brilliant season in 2009-10, and wasn't that bad last season. Maybe we should give Chris Brown a chance before we write him off.

As BST says, he looked a class apart at times when he played here before. And he could be the \"foil for Billy\" that we've been looking for but haven't found so far.

I know some Preston fans that were sad to see him go. Apparently he looked very good alongside Iain Hume towards the end of last season!
