Just read in The Star online about the situation with Bouhenna and it says that the College have offered to help with the language. One step closer :rtid:

One Dr from Austria had particluar problems getting his head around:
\"pop thee clogs\"
which always tickled me.

Fair play to Doncaster College offering to help communicate with this kid.  It'll be ages before he understands the changing-room banter though and he'll have to endure a lot directed at him.  Maybe SOD and the entire squad will be taking French lessons there!

I wonder whether the Algerian doctor ever heard and understood the more appropriate football idiom -

\"Kicking t'bucket\"?

  Good luck!

May be SOD has considered him to be a longer term investment and wanted some assurances that he is going to commit to the club, learn the language and settle in.

A one year deal would have been no good to either side. Good on em if this is confirmed.
