As the earlier poster mentioned, Woodcock. And we could have made it permanent had the Board not baulked at a £10k fee!

Now now, we cannot forget Uros Predic!

don`t think Uros Predic was a loan signing

I believe he was, from Serbian side Hajduk Kula.

Ahem, I see our man Uros has since signed a lifetime contract with FC Hague....

Rumour has it that although Brian Clough was willing to let him sign for us, our then manager Stan Anderson advised Woodcock to stay at Forest, claiming he had a great future and would fulfill his potential much better at Forest.

Seems Anderson's foresite was better than Clough's!

I too watched Goodman at jokewell,In the late 80's for West brom against the Dingles. He played the lone striker, and he missed a fair few that day,he did'nt do the business and they drew 0-0.

I saw Goodman play for Sunderland against Barnsley one Sunday lunchtime at Jokewell back in the early 90s and we was a monster. Shame we never saw that in the hoops.

and I saw him at Wolves score a blinder for Sunderland which made him lee them popular given he was ex WBA

.... then he signed FOR Wolves where they expected goals from him but for ages he did not score then when he did he was stuck on one goal for so long he was given the nickname Don Juan
