Really saddened to hear the news today that his paymasters can no longer 'afford' to treat this young man who was so devastatingly injured while serving them.

Just wondered if the club had ever done anything for him in the past and if not, why not ?

I seem to remember him parading around the pitch at half-time or before the one of the games but not sure which one.
Of-course i may be wrong though.

He usually sits just behind me- in the disabled area in the West Stand. Although I haven't seen him this season.

Had pleasure to meet him a couple of weeks ago,see link below & scoll to Fire tender pull,Ben will not raise money for Help The Heroes anymore since the chief exec recently awarded himself a £160,000 salary, instead he supports a volunteer charity BLESMA, British Limbless Ex Service Mens Association
