protest! for or against??
« on January 09, 2012, 05:21:29 pm by mrb88 »
im trying to find out who actually wants to hold a protest and out of those who do, how many were there back in 1997/98 and how many are actually kids trying to look like big shots

so can you kindly but your age and whether your for or against, sounds stupid but im interested to find out,

im 23 and against the possible protest.

Thanks

No protest will happen - the numbers against are just too few and vastly in the minority as has been shown - 3 or 4 kids trying to create a reaction

Jeezzzz... what a stupid thread and all of the protesters and petitioners judging by their ages inevitably to be labelled on the forum as 'Nappy Clappers'

If you support  JR you must support Saunders and McKay. It would be extremely damaging to protest against the club after all he has done and is doing . The mere idea is insanely immature.

the reason i wanted to know ages was because, i dont want to see a bunch of kids calling for the end of a regime that will but surely lead to relegation,

this regime was jr's idea and when has jr let this club down, if jr trusts in mckay then so do i!!

I'm 33 and totally and utterly against any protest.

I don't know who people think they are, John Ryan has done amazing things for this club and surely has the right to try new things as and when he sees fit.

This club has league one gates but has been in the championship for the past few seasons.  If we go down I will know that Mr Ryan will have done his best, even if we were to slump down to the conference again I will still support Doncaster Rovers and John Ryan.  He is a supporter of Doncaster Rovers in every way, possibly the only person that we can truly say that about in our lifetime.

It's time for this constant bickering, about who's doing what and who we do/don't like, to end.  If you think you could do better, put your hand in your pocket, pull out a few million each season, have every decision you make questioned with strong criticism, and get on with it.  Otherwise be grateful that we have a club to support and consider it a privilege that at worse, next season, we may be in the third tier of English football.

I will always support our board our manager and ALL the players and staff. I have seen the worst of times and bieleve me I do not want to go back to that. You just do not seem to know how good we have got it.

lots of free tickets have been given away to schools etc for tha cardiff game , so lots of potential new customers .
Any protests would see to it that none would return  .
Am sure that would piss JR off :headbang:
So its a big no no basically .

I am 60years of age and the protest is completely out of  order. Whether you agree or not  this is the way the board has chosen to go with our club . So a protest against a guy who is doing his best to get us players is a protest against JR as well. Let's all support the club an hope we stay up. The board make decisions, which they believe are the best for the clubso if you planning a protest on Saturday what ever age you are you are wrong and please do not compare this to the Richardson era.

I am a young 55 and have supported Rovers since my parents took me to my first match at the age of 5.  I am totally against any protest.

JR has done more for this club than anyone else in living memory.  Any protest is a stab in the heart for him.

Like others I trust JR to do what he believes is the best for my club. He hasn't let us down yet.  if we do get relegated it wont be for the lack of trying.

JR and the board, Dean Saunders and the players all have my unqualified support.
