« on January 11, 2012, 02:55:10 pm by Guernsey Exile »
Does anybody know of any decent companies or individuals on the net that would be interested in buying Football Programmes - I have re-discovered my collection whilst visiting family - -looking to maybe offload some items

Any ideas gratefully recieved

Thanks

No but if you find anyone, let me know. I've got a load I've been trying to shift as well!

Ditto ... I have 1400 to get shut of.

There are any number of Collectors you can find via Google but generally as with those people who want to buy your House or \"anyCar\".com they offer rock bottom prices AND what I found was they need a comprehensive list with descriptions of each Program.

E-Bay is an option of course BUT I started a \"drive\" to sell mine one by one and bought Photo type envelopes to protect my sold items in the post. My first sale coincided with the change in Postal Rates so when I sent off the first Prog to a Man City Fan in Brighton I ended up giving THEM the Postage costs back leaving me £1.50 down on my first transaction on a 40 year old Prog

So now 5 years on I have 1400 similar Progs still boxed and 200 or so Photo Envelopes awaiting for my entrepeneurial idea to restart !

So you could perhaps put them as lots on E-bay but again if you start them at 1p and postage you can lose them for next to nowt and if you put a fair figure down then you tend to get no Bids and lose the listing fees

AND

to get rid of 1400 like me you need to dedicate LOADS of time photographing - listing - posting etc so it is a big undertaking

This is not much of an answer but if you find anything decent yourself please let me know as I still want to \"off\" mine and one bulk sale would do me

I've only got about 200 thankfully! I took them to a car boot sale and a bloke said he'd take the lot, until his wife intervened.:S

You could try Football Programme Monthly , costs a couple of quid for an advert .

I've had some success in selling off programmes on there  but also have some 200+ surplus

Rovers programmes. And over 400 Non-League !!

Perhaps we could do with a Sell your Rovers programmes here site !!!

theremust be 100's  upon 100's offans allround the yorkshire region with the exact
same problem of   fans wanting to shift shit loads of matchday programmes.

why dont some bright spark hire out an location for the said fans with programmes
that want shifting.

charge each stall X amount to cover all costs and yer time for doing it.

addvertise it on other clubs forums and bobs yer uncle.

god forbid you might be able to hold it down the KMS.
