Since we are doing life history of locations I'll add a bit more:

0-4: Gorseinon (near Swansea, with a short interlude in Chester)
5-18: Bessacarr
18-23: Oxford
23-26: Aachen (Germany)
27-30: Brunssum (NL, near Maastricht)
30-36: 's-Gravenhage (a.k.a. The Hague)
37-39: Leiden
40-...:(longer than I want to make public) Leidschendam (anonymous suburb of The Hague)

To summarise - probably the only Plaid Cymru voting Doncaster Rovers supporter living in Leidschendam :rtid:

and a lovely, lovely man too! :)

Aww Thanks JB - I am not often stumped for a reply but I certainly am right now

Born In Lincoln, raised and still live in Gainsborough. My dad's originally from Balby and has followed Rovers since the 50's but moved to Gainsborough in the late 70's for work. He took me to my first match in 92 and we've been going together regularly since.

Surprised by how many here were born outside of Donny, or now live outside of Donny!

Kind of makes me feel a bit happier about making my admission:

Born - DRI
0-3 Edlington
3-5 Rawmarsh, Rotherscum
5-35 Bulkington, Warwickshire
35-36 Bedworth, Warwickshire

Having said all that, my Dad has remained in Donny throughout my travels and I have spent a lot of time in Donny with him during all my exiled years. I have never identified with 'south' and remain proudly Donny & Yorkshire through and through, even retaining an accent - if a little diluted. If I could afford to move back, I'd not think twice. Bloody hate it down here and always have.

You're a Yorkie in my eyes, it's more about informative years. I've travelled to many parts of the world but can't shake Donny and more especially the Rovers out of my heart. You don't have to be born here, bred here or a combination of both to feel part of it being YOU.
Many Donny folk never realise what they have until they look/live elsewhere, I think it only strengthens that bond. :rtid:

Born in Hamilton lodge,

Hyde Park 0-19
Balby 19-23
Leytonstone London 23-28
Belle Vue 28-36
Bessacarr 36-present

Interesting to note that even though many have moved on in their lives it was their formative years that cemented their love for the Rovers. With that in mind its good to know that of all the initiatives the club has promoted these last few years the correct pricing of the junior and youth prices has ensured that after losing fans for years to other clubs a good legacy has been put in place that will reap its full rewards in the future for the club.

Where in Leytonstone did you live?

I grew up on a road just off of Whipps Cross Road, near Leytonstone School and the Church

Oh yes.

I think I have become more and more 'from Donny' / 'from Yorkshire' the longer I've been away. My work colleagues would certainly all agree!
