Surprised by how many here were born outside of Donny, or now live outside of Donny! Kind of makes me feel a bit happier about making my admission:Born - DRI0-3 Edlington3-5 Rawmarsh, Rotherscum5-35 Bulkington, Warwickshire35-36 Bedworth, WarwickshireHaving said all that, my Dad has remained in Donny throughout my travels and I have spent a lot of time in Donny with him during all my exiled years. I have never identified with 'south' and remain proudly Donny & Yorkshire through and through, even retaining an accent - if a little diluted. If I could afford to move back, I'd not think twice. Bloody hate it down here and always have.
Born in Hamilton lodge,Hyde Park 0-19Balby 19-23Leytonstone London 23-28Belle Vue 28-36Bessacarr 36-presentInteresting to note that even though many have moved on in their lives it was their formative years that cemented their love for the Rovers. With that in mind its good to know that of all the initiatives the club has promoted these last few years the correct pricing of the junior and youth prices has ensured that after losing fans for years to other clubs a good legacy has been put in place that will reap its full rewards in the future for the club.
Many Donny folk never realise what they have until they look/live elsewhere, I think it only strengthens that bond.

I grew up on a road just off of Whipps Cross Road, near Leytonstone School and the Church[/quoteI lived further down the road in Acacia road, just behind the fire station on Leytonstone High road.
