I'd rather have Micky Walker in charge.

And what if we were shit then?

We had all this when SOD first joined, and look how that turned out.

It's a completely different set of circumstances. We were rock bottom when Saunders came, we needed a leader, someone with passion, and someone with experience to get us out of this situation. And look what we got.
I don't think people realise just how crucial staying in this league is for us financially. JR has even said himself we simply cannot get relegated due to the financial implications it will have.

People said the same when Clough went from Burton to Derby and he took a while to settle in but they are doing alright now. I think he just needs time, something which most people on here seem unprepared to give.

Also, nothing more annoying than people going mad on here about a game they aren't at or haven't been to. I'm not there today either but notice I'm not banging on about what a disgrace we are when I've nothing to back it up. The home form is good at the moment and I'm confident we've still got a fighting chance of staying up, and even if we do go down we've been here 3 seasons longer than I thought we would be.

How about two nil down and a man sent off?  or is that not back up enough?

Can we please get rid of Saunders? The guy is clearly out of his depth. We are't just losing away from home, we are getting slaughtered and there is a distinct lack of discipline.

Give it a rest will ya. Players get sent off all over the country, nothing to do with the manager. We need 8 wins still from 19 games

The guy is out of his depth. God knows what we were thinking appointing him. A year managing a non league team, and then expected to perform miracles to save a Championship team from relegation? I'm sorry, it's not his fault he can't manage at this level. Name me another football league club who would have appointed him. None.

He has more managerial experience than Howe, who struggled for many months at burnley before finding his feet. But never mind. You keep talking rubbish

I think it's you talking rubbish. I'm sure you're continued masturbation over Saunders will still evident even if we are sinking in the depths of League One.

I'd rather have Micky Walker in charge.

We're in our best form for 13 months you muppet

What does that back up? Nothing more than beating Leicester, Barnsley n southampton

It doesn't matter who is in charge, we do need to keep winning, we have an extra point against us with the GD we have. These big losses away from home don't help. The game against Hull will be interesting, can we play Plessis rather than Diouf? Will he do a similar job? Can we keep all 11 on the field next time please?

We are further away from safety and closer to being relegation certainties than at any time during the SOD era.

Does that back it up enough for you?

Not enough to judge the performance no, I've been at enough Rovers games to know how poor the refs we get tend to be, and from what I've heard (again, not there so can't back it up) the same could be said today. If their guy gets sent off for the tackle on Copps it's a different game.

Much as it ain't Saunders' fault (and it's not - I'm not a Saunders basher), there's nothing to say that Dean will be able to dig us out of League One. Nothing.

Assuming we go down (and it's almost certain we will now), the squad we have left won't be peppered with the experience we have now... Which doesn't bode well at all.

It's very worrying, no?

Think you'll find we were 7 points from safety after sods last game.

Remind me again how many games we left in the season with SOD in charge to close that 7 point gap and how many Saunders has left.

Therefore its a worse position however you try to dress it up.

At Last! Better. This sort of performance is what we needed in the second half, better football, controlling their attack and now a goal. well done, lets see what happens now....

A draw would be massive here if we can pull it off if only to deprive Brizzie of two points and leave them within reach.

3 points? Looks like 5 to me...correct me if Im wrong of course.

Oh...and granted, I made an initial error...but the way I see it he's took 20 games to close a 7 point gap to a 5 point gap....one point every ten games eh? Stunning stuff.

It doesn't look good, and the \"experiment\" is not producing the goods, it tends to be the original players who are dominating the MOM and goal scoring, maybe we ought to look to them more often, unless the newbies are completely outclassing the opposition. Beye is one of the best, yet Locky has been very good and certainly steadied us today after he came on. Choices for Saunders eh?

Did u wait until the game finished before trying to say I was wrong? It was 3 points when this discussion started.
If you won't to be all doom and gloom then so be it, I don't, think we have a great chance, with our home form alone. We have 10 home games left we win 7 of them and we will stay up
