Hull
« on January 24, 2012, 03:38:52 pm by MrFrost »
Who's going to Hull next Tuesday night then?
Less than 400 tickets sold thus far.

I'll probably get my ticket towards the end of the week. I hope as many people go as possible. The lads need our support. Lets forget the bickering and arguments over Saunders/McKay, sendings off, referee's etc and get behind the team for a full 90 minutes. :rtid:

See, there's absolutely no point trying to drum up support or get behind the team. This is the reaction it gets. No wonder we are the most poorly supported team home and away from home in the division.

I think that all teams have fewer fans home and away when they are near the bottom of the division.
It's not rocket science, people prefer to see a winning side if possible and also an even game.
Maybe some people can only afford either a home or away game. On current form which would you choose?

Football is not a family game, end of.

I will be going yes, probably get keepmoat to send it out to me, only an extra quid as opposed to £4.60 bus fare

Their average home attendance is only a few hundred behind ours now. And our away support is cringeworthy in numbers.

That wasn't the point of the thread anyway. The point is a rallying call for people to get behind the team for a change. Now isn't the time for point scoring and bickering.

I could start to go on about Peterborough being a more affluent place than Doncaster but can't be arsed.

Don't think our position in the table is doing us any favours, nor is the actual fixture being on a Tuesday night either, as well as the penultimate 'West Ham Away' which most are probably saving their money for, people still recovering from Xmas etc.

Hoping to see as many as possible at Hull though, COYR!

You are half right there. Football is a family game but they should be in the family section! If folk are going to be offended by the odd swear word then that is where they should be. People have been swearing and cursing at football matches since the first ball was kicked. If folk don't like it they can go and sit in the family stand.

crikey, I wasn;t aware that atmosphere was dependent on shouting f**k off every 2 mins

football not a family game?  you're right let's work against people bringing the youngsters and securing fans for the future and take it back to the 1980s

Hull City is (along with Barnsley) our only rivals in this division IMO.
Luckily enough Im at Cottingham in Hull untill half 6 so just figuring out whether im best off leaving the car in Cottinghsm or attempting to drive to the Stadium, once I've figured that one out, count me in...

Free parking at Cottingham train station might be of use.
