The\" Social\" bar at the end of the precinct is run by a Leeds fan and a lot of Leeds fans go in there for the televised games , so i wouldn't be surprised if they were behind it.
In town last night around 8pm a full blown riot kicked off in \"jaques\" across from manyana manyana, never seen owt like it, looked like footie fans to be honest about 30 of them went beserk blood everywhere throwing tables n chairs dunno if they were brighton fans no colours in sight, could easily have been leeds fans as i watched that game in town and the place was crawling with em!

I was in social watching the Jamie McDonnell fight when it all kicked off outside. Police, bouncers, angry looking men and plenty of blood outside. Looked like a right mess, glad I wasn't in jaques.

In fact the timing seems just about right.
Judging by the number of idiots coming out of the racecourse post match yesterday it's not surprising. I tend to avoid town on raceday, just full of t**ts.

Thats on top of the Train fare from some far flung TownI know lots of people who now avoid Donny on big race days because of the problems it has. Crowded / Noisy / full of falling down and vomiting people - and worst of all even if my friends wanted to get a drink they cant because its 10 deep at the bar !So can anybody tell me why someone would want to pay the (in some cases) Train fare Entry to Course and buy overpriced Beer / Wine whilst not (in most cases) pay a jot of attention to whats going on outside.Personally I am not a Race fan but if I was, surely I could watch on the Telly and get hammered for a whole week for the same price or less on Beer bought from Tesco (though there are other suppliers of Leffe of course)
