Is it to have a 'none' player in the match line up's ? There's never anyone seemingly to vote for these days! :suicide:

I went for Gillett because he tried to do the job of about ten players last night.  His quality isn't always the best but he works hard, fights and gives his all, surely that's all we ask?  If our 11 did that last night we may have got something from the game.  Spurr also deserved credit and when Oster came on he actually looked like a footballer.  The rest were useless.

Spurr for me. Gillett impresses with his work rate and gets forward more than some may realise, just not sure he's cut out for a 442.

No other real positives to take from last night although to reiterate a point I've made before I think Robert looks like he has something to offer.

I normally just vote for some random subsitute who's played 10 minutes or so.

Last night though i voted for Tommy Spurr, read on here that he was one of the better players for us last night and thats while playing with a broken hand. We need to keep hold of him in the summer.

Easy, just click the little circle next to one of the names on the poll and click 'vote'.

You and I both know what I meant, you`re pathetic, you`re taking the piss out of the MoM voting, provided by people that freely give their time and effort to organize and run the MoM vote, at least respect it for what it is

I'm many things but i wouldn't say 'pathetic' is one.

The ones who have been to the games usually vote for someone realistic anyway, its not like my one random vote is gunna affect the MOM results for that game or the season.

When i clicked to vote it didn't ask me if i'd been to the match and that i wasn't allowed to vote if i hadn't.

While I think Tommy Spurr is one of the better members of the current squad and always gives his best, I thought he was badly at fault on the first and third goals. A full-back's job is to stop crosses coming into the box.

Very hard to choose anyone. I think Beye might have scraped a five out of ten from me, but no-one else got above a four.

I'm glad someone was watching the same game as me TRB. Spurr was poor last night. It's all very well him getting forward and having a couple of shots, running about, looking busy etc. etc. but if he defends like he did for the first goal then it's just not good enough.

You're right, but that's because it only takes a bit of common sense to know you shouldn't really be voting for MOM if you weren't at the match

For me, I think the only player that did anything that stood out above the almost complete shower of ineptness was Ikeme. He made some saves, including one great one, and the three goals were a lot more down to the lack of support he had in his defence than his own fault.

I would say NO they did not. Perhaps too embarrassed to do so given there was not a single outstanding candidate.

At least one as outstanding as KB had been the previous game

Also did not notice the Half Time Draw numbers being displayed on Electronic Boards at Half Time. I think that was a good idea (blows own trumpet again) and it should be a routine thing. I WOULD like to see it come on at 50 minutes but heigh ho cant have everything.

How would you know a good player from a bad one when you vote for Man of the Match without attending a game?

donnyroversfc.....I think sitonmyarseathomefc would be more appropriate.

From reading peoples reports of the game on here? From being told how the games gone by any of my mates who have attended?

I don't think i'll take you up on that new username suggestion. Not only do i thik it might be too many characters than is allowed but the word 'arse' may offend some people just like voting for a random person in an internet poll offends people.

I often wonder what kind of people are on this site, get offended at someone's opinions (even when they are proven right) and throw the toys out of the pram when somebody criticises the club they've supported for a GAZILLION years!

Funnily enough though the same people who get offended at the slightest of things, are quite happy to show their agreement when someone calls a fellow poster and Rovers supporter a 't**t'. Funny that.

Yeah, but you put out for that don't you  If it wasn't clear enough already, with your voting for MOM based on others opinions, you've just bulldozed the foundations of any semblance of respect for your statements on this forum.

My one random vote is NOT going to change the result of a poll though is it? I bet most on here have just voted for a random or stupid player on the vote at some point or other...

While personal insults directed at me don't bother me one bit, it still doesn't mean i should be exposed to it.

I don't want or need respect on this, its an internet forum ffs!!! I'll just sit here in the knowledge that i've been right on most things when others shot down my comments. Atleast i had the courage and the clubs best interests at heart by speaking up for things, unlike others that just went along with everything the club did, because the club can NEVER make mistakes can it?

Clubs best interest? What so sacking the manager and selling all the players when we still have a good chance of staying up is a good idea is it? Just remind me who we'll have playing for us at the weekend? G. Woods? Hayter? Martis? And who could we possibly get to try to keep us up? Your comments aren't what's best for the club, it's what YOU want. Get off your arse, attend a game, support the club and the manager and stop being such a t**t and then maybe some people would actually respect you're opinion

We shouldn't have gone down this route in the first place thats my point. Obviously we cant get rid of them all now (but we can and hopefully have told McKay we dont want him here next season).

At the end of the season they all need to go.

Getiing players wages off the books will help give us a bit of leaway to get some players in. We cant afford a big squad, a small squad of players topped up by 1 or 2 loans and a couple of youth players should see us well.
